SeaJUG is an all volunteer effort - which means items such as the website and mailing list are updated as schedules afford. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. We need suggestions/volunteers for topics! If you'd like to donate your time/skills to the cause, contact Nimret Sandhu.
Jeff will present an Amazon Echo application written in Java that provides access to sensor data captured by a Raspberry Pi monitoring a seed starting system. It uses the adafruit.io IoT platform for data ingestion and to provide a dashboard. He also hopes to demonstrate a second Java Echo app that provides voice control of an Arduino-driven LED light?s behavior, possibly using Amazon?s IoT support.
